For Maya

My soul dog.

Maya was my first dog, but more importantly, she was my first true love.

From the moment I held her, I felt an overwhelming responsibility to protect her, care for her, and give her the very best life I could. She taught me more about myself than I ever expected a dog could. She changed the way I see love, responsibility, health, and what it means to truly care for another living being.

When you realise that your dog's entire world depends on you, you begin to see every decision differently. What they eat. How they move. How they feel. How long they stay by your side. I took that responsibility seriously, and it's what ultimately led me here.

Our brand exists because of Maya.

Although she's no longer here physically, her spirit continues to guide everything we do. She lives on in the lessons she taught me, in Todd, and in every product we create with the hope of giving other dogs the healthiest, happiest lives possible.

This brand is, and always will be, a tribute to her.

Maya, thank you for choosing me. We love you, we miss you every day, and we'll spend our lives trying to honour you through the lives of dogs everywhere.
